IHE provides care for families all across the Sunshine Coast. These areas include:

How does your service work?
IHE pride themselves on providing one on one quality care for families and children across the Sunshine Coast. We achieve this by allowing children and families the opportunity to feel safe, secure and supported within the comfort of their own home. Qualified educators provide high quality care services, whilst holding all appropriate blue cards and police checks so that parents/families can rest assured that their children are in safe hands.
• NDIS is a 1:1 ratio
• Childcare is a 1:4 ratio.
Do you offer service during the school holidays?
We do provide service during the school holidays! We love exploring the Sunshine Coast during the school holidays. We engage and explore a range of experiences and attractions across the Sunshine Coast. Examples of places that we may explore are The Ginger Factory, Australia Zoo and Chipmunks Playground. These are just to name a few.
What hours do your provide care?
Educators at IHE have different availability during the week. Our general hours of business is between 6:30am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday. Public holidays & Saturday care is available upon emailed request.
What additional costs may apply?
Some additional costs that may apply include:
Travel fees
Late fees (Additional care provided)
Emergency food provided
Surcharge of 35% on public holidays & Saturdays

Is IHE covered by insurance?
IHE is covered by insurance. This is to provide quality for both children and their families whilst also protecting the educators in the service.
Do you provide permanent care?
As IHE is a newly established business we are not currently taking on permanent bookings. However, you are more than welcome to book as many services/days as you need. Each time you book the FULL payment will be required upon booking.
In the near future IHE will look further into permanent bookings.
Do you have any previous experience with children on the spectrum?
Both educators at IHE hold the below qualifications:
Diploma of Children Services
Yellow Cards
Undergone a variety of behavioral development training
Certificates for peg feeding
Both educators have worked alongside NDIS clients
Both educators have experience with behavior management and behavior management plans
What are the prices per service?
All pricing is available on the ‘Our Services’ page.
On a Saturday & Public holiday there is a 35% surcharge which will be deducted from the nominated bank card using the pre-authorisation form. This form is to be filled out in FULL upon the time of booking.
How does the payment system work?
Upon booking you will be required to agree to all terms & conditions and also fill out the pre-authorisation form. This form will be used for any additional fees or charges, including the 35% surcharge on a Saturday & Public holiday. This form will also be used for additional hours added to your service or any additional costs that your child/children may require during a service or emergency care. Receipts will be kept and a copy will be provided to families at the end of the service.
Upon booking you will be required to pay for the service in FULL before being able to book the hours of care requested. All payment goes through PayPal, if you do not have a PayPal account you will be asked for your bank card details.
Do you have CCS funding?
As we are a growing and newly established business this process is currently in the works. This process is quite timely so please bare with us.
Childcare Cancellation Policy:
• Care cancelled on the week of care commencing - 50% payment charged.
• Care cancelled 48hrs prior to a care commencing - 75% payment charged.
• Care cancelled 24hrs prior to care commencing - 100% payment charged.
What is included in this service?
1. Qualified educator/support worker coming to your residence.
2. Educator/support worker will arrive 5 minutes prior to booking start time.
3. Resources (e.g., drawing & painting equipment).
4. Basic first aid kit.
What is not included in this service?
1. Please provide nappies and wipes (enough for the duration of care).
2. Please provide ALL food (pre-packed in lunchboxes).
3. Please prepare ALL bottles and formula with the correct amount of formula to water ratio.
4. Extended travel or surcharges.
5. Late or additional fees.
6. Extra-curricular activities are NOT included. These are at an additional charge.
Hours in care & Travel:
Parents MUST give an hours’ notice if they need any additional hours added to their care.
We have an additional travel fee of $30 for areas outside of the 25km range.
Integrity:
Educators/Support workers have the right to refuse service if they feel uncomfortable on your premise. A FULL refund will be offered in this situation.
Families/Guardians have the right to refuse service if they feel uncomfortable with an educator or support worker within the home.
Honesty, respect and open communication by all parties is required to ensure that a high quality of service and care is provided.
Fees and Fee schedule:
• Fees are debited on a Monday afternoon (Payment for the week commencing), please make sure that the correct amount is available for transaction.
• Late fees will be applied if the correct amount owing is not available for transaction.
• This is a fee of $5.
NDIS Cancellation Policy:
• If care is cancelled the week of care commencing, a 50% of payment will be charged.
• If the care is cancelled 24hrs and under, a 100% of payment will be charged.
